- 1 -
Dandelion ladies,
Dance upon a pool of fragrant jasmine flowers,
Await the one who'll fill their midnight dreaming hours,
Close your eyes and they are there,
- 2 -
Whispers in a dream song,
Of the dance that lives, when sleep calls us to come along
To the land of bliss, where Dandelion Ladies
Take us to the depths of dreams.
- Bridge -
Little dandelions, become ladies dressed in white
and silken feathers,
As they take us drifting through the midnight ether,
Glowing fantasy and dreams, dreams.
Take my sweet child by the hand,
Knowing that this fantasy could be a true land,
Drifting through the fantasy, exploring his dreams,
‘Til awakened by sunbeams.
- 3 -
Morning bird of gladness,
Kiss away the sleep and little tears of sadness,
Fantasies will keep ‘til Dandelion Ladies
Come alive again in dreams.
(Repeat bridge and last verse)
- Ending -
The dawn is calling to us, awaken.
Daylight beckoning, sleep be gone.
The morning light is breaking,
Dreams will come, dreams will come.
